AMPED provides a save environment for underserved youth to thrive through music through songwriting and composition, recording arts, and perf ormance. Our studio is open to kids 5 days a week and we have programs thro ughout the year for a variety of topics and interests around music, uncludi ng vocal training, instrument instruction, composition, photography/videogr aphy, production, music business, and others. AMPED is a 501c3 nonprofit or ganization founded by Dave Christopher and Jason D'Mello in Louisville, KY in 2014. Level Seven Recording Studio donates 50% of procees to the AMPED p rogram and offers a variety of studio services and personalized care from our passionate engineering and production staff.

We wor k with Louisville’s premiere venues, including The Kentucky Center, Iroquois Amp hitheater, The Louisville Palace and Waterfront Park. The music hall where Headliners resides was originally used as a cafeteria for the bottlin g facility that surrounded it. During prohibition, the building was used as a rehearsal hall for the big bands that played the Seelbach andBrown hotels on the weekends. During this time, the pu blic was allowed to watch the bands practice, and drink “medicinal&rd quo; bourbon that was bottled on the property.
The decorativ e murals that adorn our walls date back to 1939, and were commissioned by the National Distillers Product Corporation. The initials NDPC are visib le on some of the murals.
With our old school charm, great acoustics, and amazing bands you would be hard-pressed to find a better music venue in Louisville.
